Young Eastern Cottontails in our yard

Eastern Cottontail Sylvilagus floridanus
Waterloo, ON
4 August 2013

Eastern Cottontails are familiar residents of our suburban neighbourhood and we noticed three very young rabbits in our yard yesterday. We assume that they are from the same litter for they seem to keep each other's company pretty closely. They are adept at hiding but from time to time they come out into the open, sometimes quite close to us.
